Structural Muscular Balancing

Structural Muscular Balancing Training

Structural Muscular Balancing (SMB) is taught in two levels. SMB I is the initial foundational training, and SMB II is the advanced secondary workshop that expands application to additional regions of the body.

SMB I: Initial Training

The initial workshop introduces precision muscle testing and foundational balancing protocols for key structural support muscles.

SMB II: Advanced Workshop

The advanced workshop builds on SMB I and extends assessment and intervention methods to shoulders, arms, legs, rib cage, and related structural regions.

Advanced Assessment

Develop stronger assessment fluency across shoulder muscles, scalenes, elbow, wrist, knees, ankles, and feet.

Regional Protocol Work

Apply structured protocols for pectorals, deltoids, triceps, infraspinatus, supraspinatus, rib cage, sternum, clavicle, and scapula.

Clinical Integration

Integrate rebound-aware sequencing with PNF and strain/counterstrain follow-up for functional treatment progression.

Instruction Focus

Advanced SMB instruction emphasizes anatomy-driven specificity, sensitivity to neuromuscular guarding patterns, and practical hands-on application that supports measurable changes in clinical outcomes.
